Roy chose the safest solution. He grabbed a bowl of food that sat next to her bed and brought it to her face.
The Ninetales lowered her maw to the bowl and took a bite. Roy smiled. Then she spit it out. He looked at her, she wasn't liking the food. It was fine, Roy just went back to her bed and brought another bowl. The Ninetales did the same, snelled it, bite a piece then spit it out, looking again at Roy dissatisfied. He got another, same result, then another, same result.
He tried each bowl, only to get rejected by the Ninetales. Roy couldn't understand why, the food looked and smelled appetitezing even for him. Maybe she was thirsty, he got a bowl of water and hold it for her to drink. She lowered her muzzle but didn't drink just smelt it then shaking her head in disapproval. Roy place the bowl back down disappointed.
„Then what? C'mon you must be hungry right?“ Roy whinned in front of her.
The Ninetales slowly approached her face towards his then without any warning, she pulled out her tongue and gave his face a good slow lick, leaving as much saliva behind. Roy cringed, whipping his face with his hands, getting the warm sticking saliva out of his eyes and mouth. When his vision came back, he saw the Ninetales smirked at him before approaching her muzzle and licking his face again, this time taking more time to wipe her wet tongue on his face.
Roy again used his hands to clean the liquid off his face. He saw the Ninetales maw slightly open, her tongue out with saliva falling of the tip. Hot air getting puffed out her mouth with each exhale, he could see the faint clouds of steam disappearing right in front of him. Sharp teeth all around her lips and at the end the dark abyss that was her gullet, a faint groan coming from down the darkness.
Before he could process what he saw, the Ninetales licked his face again, this time wetting a different part of his face. He wasn't comfortable with her licks anymore.
