Erin was still worried about Gretchen. They were in their father’s car, on their way to school, and nothing bad had happened to her. She was having some pain in her stomach, but she figured that was nervousness. When they were minutes away from school, the pain was worse. She soon realized it wasn’t nervousness.
“I need to get to a bathroom!,” said Erin.
“I know,” said Gretchen, with an evil grin.
Seeing that look told Erin what she already knew. Her sister was responsible for this. “What did you do?”
“I put some laxatives in the orange juice.”
“No!”
“Yes!”
They reached the school parking lot. There were plenty of places to park, but Gretchen kept driving past them so she could prolong Erin’s suffering. “Just park already! I have to get out!,” said a frustrated and desperate Erin.” Then Gretchen parked, not because she felt bad for her sister, but because she didn’t want her to make a mess in the car, which she’d have to drive again later in the day. Erin got out and ran towards the school.
