Go somewhere else

Gretchen stopped at a convenience store. “Go use their bathroom to clean up,” she said. Erin got out of the car to do just that.

Alone in the bathroom, Erin took off her jeans and tanktop. She started to wash the stains off her clothes in the sink, when Gretchen burst in and grabbed her clothes.

“What are you doing?,” said a nervous Erin.

“Isn’t it obvious? I’m leaving you here,” said Gretchen. She put the clothes in her bag.

“You can’t leave me like this.”

“Sure I can.” And she did. She got in the car and left for school. Erin was left stranded in the store’s bathroom with just her underwear and sneakers on, and her book bag.
