That afternoon, Sandra took Ben to the doctors to be examined. A beautiful woman took Ben and started his exam. She was intrigued by his skin color and condition but assured him that he's in good hands. She took off Ben's shirt and felt his slightly swollen belly. Ben loved how gentle her warm loving hands were on his cool round belly as she felt around it and poked it.
"So Dr. Bell, how is Ben?" Sandra asked.
"From what I can tell just by feeling his swollen middle, Ben is perfectly fine and a healthy blueberry. I need to test him some more to make sure." Dr. Bell said.
Ben knew he could trust her for she was his and Gwen's doctor since they were born. He knew that she would make sure nothing bad happens to him and that he's completely healthy when in her care. She put Ben under a machine so she could look into him. When it was finished, Dr. Bell told Ben and Sandra that he is perfectly healthy inside and out except for one thing. His stomach and intestines along with a couple other organs fused into one large sack to hold his juice. He is also now elastic and could grow as big as 40 feet around at his fullest if he wants to.
"There is one thing you need to worry about Sandra, Ben has about 4 to 5 years to live like this. If he is lucky, he could live as long as 10 to 12 years." Dr. Bell said.
"What happens at the end to him?" Sandra asked.
"Well, from all the data we gathered from Gwen and many other test subjects, they could either die peocefulky and happily without blowing up or they could end up like Gwen, just all out filling up to their limits uncontrolably and pop like an over inflated balloon."
When they heard that, Ben was twrrorfied. She told them that isn't for a few years down the road. Sandra grabbed her sons hand hand took him home. Now that he's producing blueberry juice, they could make a little money by selling it.
