The wedding goes off without a hitch. In fact, Jackie and Amanda both behave so completely normal that you begin to think that you imagined the events of the morning. "Maybe wedding nerves has affected me more than I realize..." you say to yourself.
Then when you finally get a free moment at the reception, 'Amanda' (actually Jackie) pulls you aside to talk to you. "Gerry!" she whispers angrily. "I saw the way you gazed into her eyes. And that kiss! Remember who she is."
You give her a confused look for a few seconds, then your eyes widen in realization. Her glare softens and she shakes her head. "I know it's easy to get caught up in this. I can't believe it myself. It's all so unreal." She takes your hand and continues "So I can't blame you for losing track of who 'she' is and who I am. But you have to keep on top of this! Unless something happens in the next couple hours, the two of you will be spending the next week on a honeymoon. Do you really want to sleep with your niece, even if it's really my body?"
You shake your head slowly, feeling befuddled by all this.
"It might be hard for you. If Amanda has been affected the same way I am, it will be all too easy for her to let herself get caught up in my emotions. Try not to let her, okay? Remind her who she really is!"
"Okay..." you mumble, not sure how much of your lightheadness is due to the wedding toasts, and how much is due to this stress. "I'll do my best," you promise.
She looks into your eyes with love and adoration, and for a brief moment you think you can see Jackie behind that face. She leans forward as if to kiss your lips, then shifts at the last minute to plant a soft kiss on your cheek. She blushes, saying "It wouldn't do for 'Amanda' to give you a kiss like that - not in front of everyone, anyone." She gives you a strange smile and walks back into the crowd, leaving you wondering exactly what she meant.
