Though you remember the day you became chief like it was yesterday, you have held the title for about two months now. Previously, you had been a scavenger, aiding in gathering fruit for your village. Your friends have always known you as a hard worker, never stopping to rest until you were sure everyone in your village had enough food to make it through past winters. Now that you are more relaxed, your average build had been replaced by a noticeable bay window and fuller cheeks on your face. You have shrugged this off in the past, knowing that past chiefs had a reputation for letting themselves fo. None of the residents seemed to mind either, as long as you retained your leadership.
