"So what happened already?" Naruto asked as he stood up and walked around to stand in front of Sakura again.
Sakura shot him a smile. "Well..."

FLASHBACK
------------------------------
Sakura and Naruto were out at the bar getting drinks. It had been a long and rough day at the hospital for Sakura, and as usual, Naruto was cheering her up. The two were currently sitting in one of Konoha's crappier sake bars. The bar left a lot to be desired, but the sake was cheap, and after the first bottle all sake started to taste the same anyways.
Naruto had been flying through sake bottles, and was already on his fourth bottle. After all these years of hanging out with Naruto, Sakura had never actually inquired whether or not the Kyubi increased his alcohol tolerance or not, but judging from the way he was currently holding himself, Sakura guessed it did not.
Sakura on the other hand, was still on her first bottle. She was barely even half way through it. Naruto's presence alone was doing wonders for her bad day, so she really didn't need to drink. She also knew that Naruto would insist paying for the bill, so she didn't want to buy sake bottles that she didn't need and rack Naruto's bill up more.
"Well Sakura-chan, some days will just be seriously shitty. That's how life goes. You just gotta bounce back from it and approach the next day with a smile, ya know?" Naruto drunkenly advised. As always, he had been the perfect sounding board for her frustrations. He patiently listened as she told him about how awful her day was, sympathizing with her where he needed to, and getting angry at the people she was hoping he would get angry at.
"You're right Naruto." Sakura replied with a beautiful smile. "Thanks for tonight, you're just what I needed."
Sakura's eyes widened as a thought suddenly struck her mind. She had been drinking with Naruto for the past hour and a half ranting and ranting about her awful day, and not once had she asked Naruto about his day! What was wrong with her?
"Jeez Naruto, I just realized something. After all this time of me telling you how shitty my day was, I never once asked you how your day was. How was it? I hope better than mine?" Sakura joked with a half smile.
"Ah don't worry about it Sakura-chan!" Naruto said with a grin as he finished off his fourth bottle. He signaled the waiter for a fifth. "You don't need to ask me about my day. I'm just happy you vented out how bad your day was today to me and that you're feeling better now." Sakura's heart was warmed by her blonde-haired friend's words. She was lucky to have such a caring and devoted guy in her life.
The waiter set a fifth bottle of sake down by Naruto and he instantly poured himself another cup and started sipping on it.
"Well I'm feeling much better now thank you. And I want to know how your day went!"
Naruto took another swig of sake and grinned at Sakura. "Well to be honest, today was kinda embarrassing."
"Oh?"
"Yeah... I was out with the guys and they told me that I'm your bitch."
"WHAT?!" Sakura gasped. Naruto was not her bitch! When she got her hands on those guys... oh there would be hell to pay. Serious hell to pay.
"That was my reaction too." Naruto chuckled. "But then they started pointing things out..."
"Like what?" Sakura asked, now generally curious.
"Well the fact that I will drop anything I'm doing to spend time with you, or the fact that I really never say no to you, or the fact that I always walk you home from work, or how I always pay for your food on our "dates," then there's how I'll even help you clean your house sometimes, how I will come over and make you dinner after you've had a long day..." Naruto started listing off.
"That's just because you're a great friend!" Sakura protested.
Naruto chuckled again. "Once again Sakura-chan, that was my exact response. But then Shikamaru pointed out that I would never do those things for him or any of my other friends. Then Kiba said that I was basically a completely whipped boyfriend without any of the benefits of being a boyfriend. And Sai, being the nice guy he is, brought the conversation full circle be re-iterating that I am your bitch."
Sakura suddenly started feeling a little bad. She had never really thought about it like that before, but Naruto was kind of her bitch. She couldn't remember the last time he said no to her. Sure she tried to be a good friend and help him out like he helped her, but he never requested anything from her. He was just always happy to make her happy.
"Naruto... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."
"Nah don't apologize Sakura-chan. It was embarrassing earlier today, but now that I've had the full day to think on it, I am your bitch, and I'm quite happy being your bitch."
Sakura's eyes widened. "Are you serious?!"
"Yeah..." Naruto replied with a soft, yet drunken smile. "You are the most important person in my life, and you deserve to have someone who will take care of your every need. You deserve to have your every wish met and every desire filled. I actually wish I could do more for you Sakura-chan."
Warmth spread through Sakura's body like wildfire and she smiled fondly at her drunken teammate.
"Really?"
"Really! Please don't hesitate to make me do anything that would make you happy Sakura. I don't care if you want me to... I don't know... wear a shirt to my next meeting with Gaara that says 'Sakura Haruno is the best and I'm her bitch.' If that would make you happy, I would be glad to do it."
"So if I told you right now that I want you to come over here and kiss each of my toes, which are not at their prettiest, and certainly aren't smelling their best right now, you would happily do it?"
Naruto stood up and woozily walked over to Sakura's side of the booth and knelt down. He planted kisses on each of her toes, even though they were sitting in a booth in a crowded bar. After he finished kissing her last toe, he smiled at her and returned to his seat.
Sakura smiled happily. Today was turning out to be a great day.
