Naruto grabbed foot lotion and then grabbed Ino's left foot and started rubbing the lotion onto it.
"Yeah, and she was like....ohhh wow." Ino suddenly moaned when Naruto started rubbing the lotion into her feet.
Sakura grinned. "Yeah, Naruto gives a pretty good foot rub."
"Pretty good? Naruto, screw being the Hokage, this is your calling!" Ino cooed as Naruto continued rubbing the lotion into her feet.
"Umm...thanks?"
"You know Naruto, if you ever want to be another woman's bitch in addition to being Sakura's I will gladly make you mine." Ino smirked.
"Back off Piggy or else I'm going to have him stop." Sakura growled angrily.
"What's wrong? Can't deal with a little competition?" Ino challenged.
"Naruto's mine, get your own bitch."
Naruto was happy that Sakura was so possessive of him, but he could see that she was one or two more comments away from losing her temper and beating that crap out of Ino. And as much as Naruto would like to get out of having to give Ino a pedicure, he figured that beating the shit out of her best friend would not make Sakura happy in the long run.
"Sorry Ino, but I love Sakura-chan, and only Sakura-chan. She's the only woman who I will ever want to serve."
Sakura's facial expression did a complete 180. One second she had a furious expression on her face that promised pain, the next she was softly smiling at Naruto.
"Love?" Ino asked with a grin on her pretty face.
Naruto's eyes widened. He didn't even realize he said love! Yes he loves Sakura, but he didn't want her to know that yet! That was just going to complicate things, it was just going to make things awkward between them. He really didn't know what to say. He wanted to proclaim to the world that hell yes he said love, but he also was tempted to try to play it off. The two conflicting ideas caused Naruto to just sit there stupidly, rubbing Ino's foot.
"Naruto?" Sakura was looking forward to him telling Ino that he meant what he said, and was a little concerned when he didn't reply at all.
"Umm... Well you see..." Naruto said nervously. "I..."
"It's no secret you idiot." Ino sighed. "Just say it out loud."
It's no secret? But...
Sakura gave Naruto a "reassuring" prod in the face with her big toe.
"Yes, I said love." Naruto finally relented. He was relieved when the smile on Sakura's face grew even larger. Her left foot being done, Naruto grabbed Ino's right foot and started rubbing lotion onto it.
"That's so cute!" Ino cooed. "You know, it's about time you two got together."
Naruto opened his mouth to say that they weren't actually together, that he was just Sakura's complete bitch now, but he was beat to the punch by Sakura.
"I agree." Sakura flashed him her pretty smile and an intense feeling of joy streamed through Naruto's entire body. He kept rubbing the lotion into Ino's foot with a large foxy grin on his face.
"Oh man, everyone is going to love this when I tell them!"
"Everyone?" Sakura asked with a sweat drop.
"Sakura, as the savior of our village and of this world, the villagers take a big interest in Naruto. And after your heroics in the war, and all the people that you saved, you are also someone whose life the villagers like to hear about. I can't tell you how many times I've heard a villager say that Naruto should just grow a pair of balls and ask you out already!"
Sakura chuckled. "Well you're welcome for the juicy gossip Ino."
"That reminds me!" Ino yelled. "Did you hear about that new jonin? I guess he..." Naruto sweat dropped as Ino started prattling off about some more gossip about a person that he didn't even know. He mentally sighed as Sakura and Ino again ignored him and went back to gossiping.
Naruto let go of Ino's left foot once he had fully rubbed all the lotion into it and grabbed the small grey pumice stone and used it to grind away all of the remaining rough areas on his fellow blonde's feet. It didn't take him long to complete the task.
Next he pushed all of the cuticles on Ino's toes back. Almost there... Naruto thought to himself. He put toe separators in each of Ino's toes and carefully applied a base coat to each of her toe nails. Naruto held her feet in his hand as he gently blew on her toenails so the base coat would dry quicker. After blowing on her toes for six minutes (during which Ino and Sakura continued to ignore him and gossip about stupid crap in Naruto's opinion), the base coat was finally dry.
"What color do you want me to paint your toe nails Ino?"
"Purple of course!"
Naruto wasn't surprised. Ino really had a thing for the color purple. He grabbed the purple nail polish and carefully painted each of her toe nails. Once he was finished, he held Ino's feet and gently blew on them so they would dry quicker. Seven minutes later when the first coat was done, Naruto applied another and again gently blowing on her toe nails. He waited another seven minutes and finally applied a top coat onto her toe nails, and held and blew on them for the last time.
Seeing that he was finished, Sakura smiled down at him. "Kiss each of Ino's toes again Naruto."
Naruto complied and gave each of Ino's freshly pampered toes a kiss.
He gently put Ino's feet down.
"All done."
Ino examined her feet with a smile on her face. "Not bad at all Naruto, good work!"
"My turn!" Sakura cooed as she wiggled her toes in Naruto's face. He flashed her a smile, shifted over so he was kneeling in front of her and grabbed the nail polish remover. He took Sakura's foot into his hand and got to work.
