"I'm not telling you yet Naruto!" Ino said. She grabbed him by his wrist and Naruto let himself be dragged along to... wherever they were going.
The pair got as far as the shopping district of the village before he decided that he REALLY needed to know where Ino was leading him and what she wanted. He dug his feet into the ground and stopped Ino and himself from moving any further.
"Ino, you have to tell me what we're doing, or I'm not going any further", he said.
Ino, for her part, considered whether or not to tell him. She intended to finally take Naruto to get some new clothes. In her mind, it was because she was just being a good friend to Sakura. Ino had discovered how Sakura was, perhaps, finally begin to discover some feelings for Naruto. However, she also knew that Sakura wouldn't want anything to do with him the way he looked now. She planned to get him something to replace all the orange he wore around the village with some new clothes from one of the many shops in the area. Ino was, as per usual when she set her mind on something, absolutely determined that her mission would be accomplished no matter what she had to do to get it done. That was up to and including putting Naruto under her Shintenshin no Jutsu (Mind Body Switch Jutsu) if she had to.
She finally decided that she might as well tell him what she had planned. If he didn't cooperate, there was always her Plan B jutsu.
"Naruto," she said, "I plan to get you some new clothes here. What you've been wearing lately is an eyesore, and I want to fix that. Understood?"
