Chapter #9Sakura's House by: Viraqua Ino and Naruto walked up to Sakura's door.
"It's been a while since I've seen her", Naruto admitted.
"Me too. Ever since she moved back in with her mother after her divorce, she's been almost non-existent", Ino agreed, before knocking on the door.
A while later, the door finally cracked open to show a suspicious Sakura.
"What the heck do you two want", she asked in annoyance.
"We're here to find Hinata and Hanabi. Ayame says you asked them to help you yesterday", Ino replied as she barged in, looking for clues with her magnifying glass.
"S-sorry for the intrusion Sakura-chan, you know how Ino-chan can be", Naruto apologized as he followed the others in.
Sakura fiddled with something while she responded, "I know perfectly well how she can be. And it's going to be a big problem, or a perfect opportunity. While you're here, can you tell me what this rag smells like?", she asked sticking it up towards his nose.
"It smells like chloroform.....*THUD*"
Meanwhile, Ino was playing sleuth in another room, until she came across a shred of violet cloth.
"Huh? This is part of Hinata's jacket", she commented as she eyed the piece with her magnifying glass, then turned around, " Hey Saku-", she was cut short as a magnified fist impacted with the magnifying glass, which in turn slammed against her face and shattered, sending her to the ground in shock.
Her shock was apparent as blood started dripping onto the floor in front of her as she got up on her shaky hands, before a powerful arm wrapped around her neck and pinched off her blood flow.
"Nighty night pig", she heard as she struggled to pull the arm away.
"Sa-sak-ku....", she croaked out before blacking out and going limp.
Naruto was the first to wake. Finding himself..... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
