The change was instantaneous as both Joey and Mai were enveloped in the bright light which lasted for a few seconds before quickly dimming. As soon as the two of them felt it was safe to open their eyes, they noticed the obvious changes. It seemed that the two of them had somehow switched clothing. Joey was now sporting Mai's short-sleeved purple coat which her white corset-like tube top,which showed off his stomach, along with purple high-heeled boots. It also seemed that he had obtained Mai's oversized hair and light touch of makeup."Hey what's goin on here?" Joey said as he panicked, trying to figure out exactly how he got in Mai's outfit.
Mai was freaking out as well, though admittedly she was taking it much better once she got a good look at Joey. "Oh god I don't know what's going on, but dear lord is it funny!" She nearly fell over laughing. She was now sporting Joey's usual long blue open jacket with a raised collar, a white T-shirt underneath and blue jeans.
"No it ain't!" Joey let out a low growl. "If anything I'd say that it was incredibly unfunny!" He blushed as he looked down at his new outfit. "How exactly am I supposed to walk in these boot thingies anyway?
All of a sudden, a familiar face made his way into the room where they were having their duel. "Oh hey guys playing a game?" He seemed rather unfazed by the fact that his super macho friend Joey was dressed up like a girl.
Joey blinked in confusion "uh.. Yugi do you happen to notice anything different here?" He said as he pointed to his hair. "Anything at all?!"
Yugi looked at him nervously. "Uhh.. Sorry Mai I didn't notice you got a haircut. Later guys" He gulped as he quickly ran out of the room.
Mai mused the situation over for a second. "Hmm.. As far as I can figure out, we've somehow switched lives with each other. She gave a giggle. "And now everyone things that we're each other."
"Glad you find this so funny." Joey pouted. "What are we supposed to do now?
"Hmm.." Mai tapped her foot as she thought. It seemed that she had a little idea forming in her head.
