Whisper knew from a young age that she was different from others in her village.
everyone's hair was brown or black.
Her's was silver.
everyone's build was muscular...men more so than women.
her build was small and weak.
everyone had owned their own sword of sharp weapon by the age of 12.
she was 15 and owned a willow staff.
She knew she was bound for great and wonderous things...but little did she know how great or wonderous those things would be until "he" visited.
She saw the raggedy man enter town. he asked everyone he saw for food and drink, they all shooed him away because he was poor.
Whisper invited him into her house....she lived alone after all.
She said she would share what little food and water she had with the man.
the old man looked at her and said she had passed the test.
suddenly, the man vanished and the shack began to crumble.
she ran outside to find a giant god-like giant standing outside bellowing curses at the town.
"villainous humans! you retched, vile insignificant nothings! i came to you to test resolve, compassion, and understanding...yet i was greeted by greed, lust, and corruption...save for one.
The giant extends his hand and Whisper climbs upon it.
Holding her so the entire town sees, he bellows: "this simple girl showed me kindness in the face of evil, courage in the presence of fear. I shall let her decide....if you all will perish...of live to try and correct your lives!"
the entire town begs for mercy from you.
