Chris came through the door with a huge smile on his face. His parents immediately rushed to their little boy, dragging Nate along with them. As they got closer, however, Nate suddenly noticed something odd. It wasn't until they were standing in front of Chris that he realized that he didn't have to look downwards to look at Chris in the eye.
They were the same height.
Chris seemed to be the same, but he was now as tall as Nate was. In fact, it was as if someone cut off Chris's head and put it on a 16 year old's body. The new clothes the scientists had provided Chris were plain and ordinary, but it revealed that Chris's new body had shed all of it's baby fat and had some traces of some development. He wasn't a jock per say, but he wasn't the skinny midget he was a few hours ago.
"How's my little baby?" Their mom said, hugging Chris close.
"I'm not so little any more mom." Chris said smugly as he looked over at Nate.
Nate gulped and turned his gaze towards the doctor that had followed Chris outside. "How much bigger is he going to get?"
"Well, it's hard to say for certain." The doctor said, looking down at his clipboard. "Your brother had responded to the treatment much faster than we had anticipated. We estimate that he'll grow maybe another foot by the end of the week
A whole foot taller by the end of the week? That would mean that Chris would be a whole foot taller than Nate, and Chris was only 9!
Chris's smile grew even bigger, as if he could read what was going on in Nate's mind. Who knew what would happen once Chris got bigger than Nate, or how much bigger the not so little brother can get!
