Molly’s breath caught in her throat as she realized that she had to be less then an inch tall!!! The bench stretched out bigger than a football stadium to her now, she could barely see the edges on either side of her. Looking forward, Molly quickly skittered back from the edge she had been sitting on when she shrunk, the drop below making her heart stop from the brief glimpse she’d caught of it.
As she did this, Molly noticed that her shoes had fallen off. Checking herself over real quick, Molly was at least somewhat relieved to see that her skin-tight sports braw and short shorts were still on her body; though they did feel slightly looser than before… Getting to her socked feet, she carefully made her way to the edge of the bench again and dared to look over at the ground so very far below. There were her shoes, looking just fine, sitting slightly under the bench where her feet used to be.
Quickly backing away again, molly did here best to come to terms with what was happening and tried to piece together what had happened. So, she came to the park to play volleyball with her friends, they took a brake and she came over here to relax a bit in the shade, then she got a headache and… shrank! She started panicking again, breaths coming shorter as her heart rate increased, she scrambled to find something else to focus on. She looked to her cloths. Why had they shrank with her, but not her shoes?
Looking closer, she noticed how sweaty she still was from playing. Maybe that was it! Her cloths had absorbed most of her sweat, but her shoes would have remained mostly dry thanks to her socks and the fact that her feet had never really sweat THAT much. So, that must mean that whatever shrank her must be inside her or something. Molly had never been much of a science wiz, so she couldn’t even fathom how something like this might be possible.
Just then, the shade under the towering tree became deeper and much darker. Looking up, Molly’s heart stopped as she saw a human for the first-time sense shrinking. Her neck ached as she looked up and up and up, trying to see their face so very far up in the sky; like trying to see the to of the world’s tallest skyscraper, and she wasn’t even seeing this from the ground!
Who is Molly looking at?
