Kim drove into her high school parking lot and parked her car by the locker room entrance. She had soccer practice today and she was looking forward to it because they were in the playoffs. This year they hoped to get past the first round. She was one of the best players on the team even though she was only a 17-year old junior.
She parked her car and gets out. She was wearing soccer shorts, a blue t-shirt and soccer sandals while carrying a sport bag with her equipment. She saw her good friend Shannon and they walked over to meet each other outside. Shannon was wearing the exact same things as Kim except that Shannon had brown hair compared to Kim's blonde hair and that Shannon is 5'5" and Kim is about 5'7".
"Shannon!" Kim greeted Shannon. "What's going on?"
"Oh, nothing much," Shannon replied. "I sure do enjoy holidays, except that we still have practice."
"Well, our season will be done after we get cut down to size by Central tomorrow," Kim said through her teeth.
"Funny, you should put it that way because I have this new flavor of Gatorade 'Electrifying Orange'." Shannon said.
"What's so odd about that?" Kim asked her.
"Well, it's what it says on the label." Shannon said. The label read 'Guaranteed to change your mind, your ability, and your size.'
"Huh, that's weird," Kim said.
"Maybe it's a mental thing," Shannon began. "Maybe you feel bigger and that gives you more confidence or something like that."
"Weird, we better change for practice," Kim said. So Kim and Shannon entered the locker rooms and sat down by their respective lockers. Shannon got a bottle of this new Gatorade for Kim as well so she got it out and set it on the floor. She got out her shoes and equipment from her sport bag. Kim then slipped the sandals off her barefeet and was about to put on her equipment when she looked down at the drink again.
