Courtney was confused, wondering what had happened. One minute she and the other cheerleaders had just talked about practice had went, and their plans for the weekend, and other subjects that come up when a group of young women get together. The next minute, she found herself waking up on the floor.
She wasn't the only one who was picking herself up off the floor. All eight of the cheerleader (which included Courtney) were picking themselves up off the floor. There was a lot of confusion but, as they looked around, everything looked normal.
Except everything wasn't normal.
The locker room, including the attached shower room and other facilities, looked normal, but the reality was, Courtney and the other cheerleaders were in a specially crafted mockup of their locker room, one that was specifically designed to accommodate their new six inch high bodies. Everything would work, but if they tried to exit the locker room, they would find the doors would not open. The only way into and out of the locker room was to lift the roof off. Which is how they were placed into the new version of the locker room in the first place.
The eight cheerleaders had been shrunken down by four baseball players collectively known as the Geek Squad. At Courtney's high school, even though the baseball team actually did better than the football team. the members of the baseball team were considered a couple of notches below football players in the social order of Courtney's high school. So cheerleaders would date football players and other popular guys, but baseball players were beneath their notice.
The geek squad was made up of four white baseball players who were smart, athletic and kind of good looking. But just not high enough in the pecking order of things to warrant the attention of the cheerleaders. In the normal course of things, the members of the Geek Squad would have resigned themselves to graduating without ever having gotten to date a cheerleader.
But that was before one of the members had invented a shrinking device that defied the laws of physics. He talked to the other members of the Geek Squad, and a plan was formed. Each member of the Geek Squad had his two favorite cheerleaders, so the plan was, create a model of the girls' locker room, knock out and shrink the cheerleaders, put them into the miniature locker room, and see what happens next.
Fortunately for the Geek Squad, there were plenty of mirrors in the actual locker room, so they could put one way mirrors and tiny cameras all over the miniature locker room, and see what the cheerleaders were doing, without the cheerleaders knowing they wee being watched.
