I remembered my English teacher reminding earlier that day to stay behind during lunch. My coursework was due in the following week. I had to sacrifice my free time to catch up. I had to stay behind in class during my lunch hours to finish my incomplete coursework, since I needed some of the supplies found only here in Dograb college. I had no other choice. While all of my friends were out eating dinner and enjoying themselves, I was stuck indoors struggling to finish my work. It was the same story all week, at least until Friday, when I found something unusual sitting at my desk.
I walked into the English classroom, on my own once again, only to find a small bottle sitting at my desk. I was curious, so I inspected the bottle. It was full of some kind of liquid, presumably blackcurrant squash, but what was more interesting was that the bottle had a tag with my name written on it. I couldn't recognize the handwriting, but whoever wrote on the tag must have known that I was staying behind, so I assumed that it was intended for me. With the small bottle in my hand, a sudden thirst suddenly consumed me. I suddenly became very thirsty.
With a free drink in my hand, why would I even consider buying another one with my own money? This was a convenient discovery, or so I thought.
As I took a sip from the strange bottle, oblivious to the bubbling beneath my lips, I sat down in my chair, prepared to finally complete my work. Putting the drink to one side, across the desk, I reached into my backpack, ignorant to the unfamiliar reach it took to grab my folder. I threw the folder onto the table in front of me without noticing the peculiar amount of strength it took to lift such a heavy folder. I then reached back into the bag beneath my chair, but this time however, I struggled to reach down. Puzzled by this, I looked down, noticing how low the floor had suddenly become, but when I looked back in front of me, I suddenly realized that something strange was happening to me.
