“As tempting filling the little kitten with sausage’s is I can´t do it under this circumstances.” Dodger thought. “My friends are starving and needs all the food I can get. I have to hope that in a brighter future I can get a new chance to test this.”
Coming back to reality he saw that Oliver was on his way to eat one of the hotdogs. With a quick tug he dragged the hotdogs away from Oliver and throw them around his neck again. “What are you doing?” Oliver asked annoyed for what happened. “If you want them, come get them.” Dodger said and run of. Oliver (Who was really obsessed of eating the hotdogs now.) runs after him shouting, “Come back! I helped you get them!”
The chase went on for a little while throughout the construction—site. (Dodger didn’t want the cat to know his plan right away,) After making a quick look at the site Dodger saw the perfect place to have his meal.
He ran up some stairs and then went out on the third floor on a building with Oliver not far behind. Dodger had seen that a pile of sand was laying outside of this unfinished building, and made his way towards the sand heap. He jumped out of the building and landed safely on the sand.
He turned around and saw that Oliver was on his way. He could see in his eyes that he wanted this hotdogs more then anything else right now. He took a leap against Dodger looking like a lion throwing itself against its prey. With Oliver in the air Dodger saw his chance, and opened his mouth.
In a blink of an eye Oliver went from a furious and hunting predator to a scared and panicking prey. He knew that now when he was falling down towards Dodgers opening gap he was as helpless and vulnerable as possible. The only thing he could think out to do during this little time he had left before getting eaten was to try and attack Dodger in some way. He was going to give the dog a fight all the way into the end.
Dodger seeing this decided to not take any risks and opened his mouth more. This had the effect that when Oliver entered his mouth he went down his throat directly. There was a risk of Dodger hurting his stomach because Oliver was falling down at a very quick speed. Luckily (for Dodger at least) Dodger´s throat muscles manage to slow down Oliver´ speed enough to only make his impact feel to Dodger like had swallowed something heavy.
Looking down Dodger could see a small bulge on his belly that was Oliver. Apart of the slightly pain of Oliver landing in his belly he felt good. And with this meal he wouldn’t have to eat in almost a day.
Oliver on the other hand had it far worse. He was now in a place that is dark, wet hot, and with very little air. He tried to claw his way out but the lack of air made his effort worthless.
All of the sudden he felt his whole prison shake. Dodger had been given his belly a slap. “Hope you´re happy now kitty.” Dodger said in a irritated tone. “Because you had to play “Mr tough guy” I lost my chance on getting a great taste of you.” “Please let me out.” Oliver pleads from Dodgers insides. “ “Sorry little friend.” Dodger said. “But this city is known as “The city jungle”, and in the rules of the jungles it all about the predator eating the prey.”
And with that Dodger stopped listen to Oliver and thought about what to do now. If he was going to rest and return home once Oliver was digested. Or was he going to take the hotdogs and return now?
