You catch the bus to the Mall, which is on the outskirts of town, desperately trying to remember everything you can about the project that you enrolled on, and the behaviors that you are somehow supposed to be monitoring and influencing. You're going to be in a Mall. What sort of behaviors could you possibly observe there that you could use as your to build any type of base data, and how on Earth could you affect the results? You struggle to get your head around it, so decide the best option would be just to watch the people around you, and try to recognize different types of behaviors, and how people react or respond to different things...
By the time you arrive at the Mall you realize that you've already started building a catelogue of reactions, which you guess represent behaviors of sorts. This started as soon as you sat down on the bus, and the lady beside you moved her handbag to her other side, and seemed to shift away from you slightly in her seat. Was that because she didn't know you, or was she worried you might snatch her bag? Then an old man boarded, and even you could tell he hadn't washed for ages, and people around him clearly tried to distance themselves from him. Then a young woman boarded the bus wearing a tight blouse over close fitting leggings, between them leaving little to the imagination, and you could see the men on the bus sneaking a look at her (as to be fair you did yourself).
OK so perhaps there may be something in this behavioral thing after all.
