Stay here and wait for them all to go away

"This cannot be happening," you try to reassure yourself as you twist the deadbolt latch into place and back away from the store entrance. That's when you notice the sleeve of your jacket wavering as if fluttering in a strong wind. This wouldn't have been an issue had you been standing with your feet in the waters of some Pacific Coast shoreline. However, the nearest beach was over 800 miles away from this small town. Upon closer inspection, you see that not only is the lower portion of your jacket sleeve glowing, now a bright florescent green, but it seems have come to life. You are surprised by the high pitched squeal that escapes your lips as you quickly remove the jacket and throw it across the floor. After all, you've always thought of yourself as a pretty tough girl before tonight.

"What the fuck is going on here?" you utter under your breath as you check the rest of your body for any signs of glowing ooze. You make your way to the back corner of the store, where a security camera is hidden by a large round mirror, never taking your eyes off the jacket. The mirror indicates no signs of green slime on your backside, but you look a little closer to be sure. That's when you see movement coming from your jacket's reflection. Without turning, you stand frozen, watching, as the glowing sleeve creeps like a caterpillar across the aisle, dragging the rest of the jacket with it, until it disappears behind a large bag of Doritos.
