You are a bit annoyed that your mom called you at work, but figure it must at least be important so you try not to sound bored. "Hey mom, what is it?" you say as a man in an RV pulls up outside. "Honey, it's just awful...I forgot how to set the DVR on the television!" she replies in an exasperated tone.
You roll your eyes and try to hide your frustrated tone as you give your mother the simple instructions she should really know by now. "Thanks so much honey, have a good day at work!" she says happily as the phone clicks off. You rub your forehead as the man with the RV walks in to pay for his gas.
"Hey there, little lady. Think you could grab me a snack for the road?" he says as he pulls out his wallet and puts a couple of fives on the counter. "Uh sure, what can I get you sir?" you ask as you take the money and put it in the register. The man merely gives you a smile as he puts his wallet away and rests a hand on the counter.
