You groan in frustration as you take the red pen and sign your name where the man specifies. Your hand hurts as the ink spills onto the paper and your heart begins to beat faster, but you brush it all off as excitement. "Here, now give me my ticket!" you shout as you slam the pen down on top of the contract.
"Here you go. Enjoy the show." the man says flatly as he pulls a ticket from his sleeve and hands it to you. "My boss will find you after the show, so don't go running off anywhere." You give him a glare and run towards the main tent where you hand your ticket off to the big clown guy who points you to your seat.
You buy a bag of popcorn from a vendor and get ready for the show of a lifetime. Sure enough, the acts and feats of the performers live up to the hype. There were clowns juggling chainsaws, acrobats swinging over spikes and even a ringleader commanding savage animals to perform tricks. This really was worth the price of admission...or so you think.
After the final performance all of the circus people get back out for one final bow as red and black confetti erupts from behind the stands. You cheer and clap as they disappear one by one backstage and begin preparing for the next show. "That was fun." you say as you stand up to leave. "But that contract does have me a bit worried..."
