"Wow this is totally awesome," you thought. "I should swap something else." But you couldn't decide what "Should you swap something with one of your sisters?" You were deep in thought when your cell phone played it's usual tune. You picked up the phone and found out it was Patsy one of your mother's friends. You didn't know for a moment why she calling on your phone, when you realized that she was your friend now. Patsy started off simple enough asking you how you were, but it didn't take long before she got to the real reason of the call. Patsy was having a problem with her husband and she wanted to let it all out on you. You didn't care. You wanted to use the Super Swapper but you couldn't get a word in edgewise. It took almost a half an hour before you could get her off the phone. By that time, Nancy was back.
"Honey, what are you doing back. I thought you went to see Jack?"
"I did mom"
"He wasn't home?"
"Yeah he was home."
"Then why are you back so soon?"
"Well when I got there all he wanted to do was play video games. I just hate them." You knew that your mom didn't like video games like you did. You hadn't thought that your mother would have nothing in common with your friends like you didn't have anything in common with hers.
"So you came right back?"
"No I convinced him to watch a video. But we couldn't decide on which one. Finally, we came up on something."
"So why aren't you still there?"
"He wanted me to buy beer for him to drink during the movie. I'm an adult I can buy anything I want, but he is only sixteen. He is always asking me to get himn beer."
"Well?"
"I wouldn't get beer for children. But we got into a fight. I told him the only reason we are friends is so that I'll buy him beer."
"You told him that???"
"Yes and it started a big argument. So I came home."
"I guess you are right." Nancy decided to go to her room. This swap didn't seem to be working well for you or your mom. What should you do next?
