As soon as Mark selected 'Personality', the change was done. But he didn't really feel much different. Even as his weight shifted and he began to stand differently with his legs crossed. Rachel put down her book and walked past Mark. He didn't notice, but she had walked past him differently to how she usually would. What he DID notice was that Rachel's clothes were super cute and that book she'd put down looked really cool. He moved to adjust some non-existent glasses on his head and decided he'd go for a walk, seeing as the swap didn't work.
Before he went though, he went to Rachel and switched their clothes around to see if the first switch had just been an error. As the swap completed, he looked down to see he was wearing a grey cropped jumper, a pink shirt underneath it, a grey knee length skirt and black tights. He was also wearing Rachel's white trainers. He could feel her glasses on his head now too, which made him feel more at ease. He felt some light makeup on his lashes and lips, but to be honest makeup was a social norm he'd never really gotten...
As he began to walk through the streets he saw a couple of cute guys in Rachel's year at school, instinctively his eyes darted away from them and he clutched his arm as his heartrate increased. Hang on, did he think of those two 13 year old boys as 'cute'? It occurred to him in that moment that he was acting like his sister would. So the first swap HAD worked. It felt a little odd to him as he realised that he was becoming more and more like his sister and less like himself. And yet he felt like experimenting with that. But maybe he should talk to Rachel about this first.
