Unbeknownst to the rest of the Furious Five Crane had a strong desire to wear diapers again. He wasn't exactly sure what started his obsession with the padding. Maybe it was due to the fact his mother coddled him so much when he was younger that was the reason he wore them. Even he was potty trained at roughly age four his mom insisted he continue to wear diapers until he was seven, which had nearly been embarrassing as that suit of armor. That could have factored into helping develop his crinkly fetish.
Or maybe he just wanted to feel young, the waterfowl wearing the padding in order to reclaim his youth despite being an adult. Crane's desire to be diapered had brought out a yearning within him to be a baby again. When he was alone and had put one on Crane would often act like a young child by sucking his thumb or speak with a childish lisp imagining himself as a toddler, a very big toddler. And another thing that should probably be mentioned is that Crane didn't just wear diapers, he used them too! He even loved being changed, the act of getting cleaned up and put in a new one even by himself was pleasurable and invigorating, such was his love for the garment. If it wasn't for the norms of society and the fear of his friends finding out the avian would openly wear them. He would also stop using the toilet altogether and become dependent on the babyish garments by becoming incontinent.
All these thoughts ran through his mind as Crane stood there in the middle of his, clad in nothing but his crinkly attire. Smiling to himself he reached down with his right wing and rubbed the front of his diaper while sticking his thumb in his beak and rhythmically sucking on the feather. His eyes became half lidded as the action immediately comforted him. That is until an important urge hit the waterfowl a minute later as he felt the need to go to the bathroom as he did most every morning. The thought of leaving to use it the toilet completely skipped the bird's mind, and why shouldn't it when he was wearing his around his waist. Grinning to himself at this internal logic and having already made the decision to go to the bathroom in his pants he calmly relaxed his body and let go.
