Po walked cautiously, confident enough in his abilities to know he didn't wake up anyone and wasn't being followed, but also well aware that after all this time training and living in Jade's Palace, the sacred place still held many secrets he didn't know about and could give him trouble.
"The hall of warriors and the thousand scrolls.. now, how to find the juicy ones" Po muttered to himself, wondering how to find what he was looking for. The little guilt he felt for tresspassing against the desires of his master went away quickly with the usual reasoning he recognized and wanted to get rid of but that sometimes it still crept on his head. He was the awesome Dragon Warrior and it was just right that he should have access to such kind of power! Destiny even, after all the series of events that led him to become what he became was still unbelievable to describe.
But as for what he was looking for, Po wanted to stop relying on his Wuxi Finger Hold so much. He wasn't exactly sure about what he specifically wished to find around here, maybe some attack that allowed him to keep a distance over his opponent? preferably something flashy, something closer to the childhood fantasies he used to have, even if he still loved and deeply appreciated all the kung fu moves he mastered under Shifu's tutelage. He knew it was possible, there were so many magic artifacts out there, so many warriors with cool and strange powers that he figured out there must be something on one of the scrolls.
After walking around for a couple of minutes trying to "sense" if there was a scroll calling out to him Po just gave up, shrugged and, being as careful as possible to make sure his clumsiness didn't end up with him buried beneath a ton of scrolls, picked one at randomly. Trembling with anticipation he opened it and..
"Hypno what?"
He didn't fully understand what he was reading yet, which wasn't a good sign. But the good sign was that it seemed to be what he wanted, something that didn't require physical contact and apparently, if performed correctly, allowed the user to have some sort of control over the actions of the opponent?
"Whoa" Po grinned realizing the possibilities of this hypnotizing move thing. Setting the scroll on the floor he got serious, as he always did when motivated to do something, and started to internalize the moves.
