Your heart almost drops as you look down towards the Slytherin table who appear to be quite a menacing bunch, you also noticed that a lot of students are whispering and some gasping as you slowly walk down towards your new house who would be like your new family, you can't help but think back to the Dursley's.
There is only one seat left at the table and it just so happens to be next to another Slytherin boy in 1st year who introduces himself to you as Draco Malfoy and also seems to be the only one in the entire hall who is not shocked at your name or about who you are.
After a short speech from Dumbledore, the feast begins which is more than enough to take your mind of things, this helps you begin to talk to the people sat around you. Although at the beginning, Draco Malfoy seemed to be somewhat of a shady character, you are actually chatting to him and seems actually funny and quite friendly. You also meet two other large boys who look like they seem to be tagging along with Draco, their names are Crabbe and Goyle, although they don't speak overly much and seem to be more brawn than brains, you feel you will be able to get along with them just fine. To the right of you at the opposite side of the table there is a girl who you have noticed hasn't really spoke much since you sat down, you ask her name and she tells you it's Pansy Parkinson, you, Draco and her get talking to each other and you can feel a friendship starting between all of you's.
At that moment you decide you are more than happy to become one of the Snake's in the Slytherin House. Shortly after dessert (which you barely didn't have room for until you seen the delicious chocolate pumpkin balls filled with caramel sauce) you are escorted by the Slytherin prefects to the dungeons in the castle walls where the entrance to the common room is located behind a stone wall. As you are so tired after a long breathtaking day, You immediately go to the 1st year boys dormitory with Draco, Crabbe and Goyle. You each decide on a bed and fall asleep shortly after jumping into it.
