Isaac and Lindsey rummaged through Lindey's basement aimlessly- bored out of their minds and simply hoping they could find anything to entertain themselves with.
"What about this?" asked Isaac pointing at an old jump rope.
"Yeah," said Lindsey sarcastically, "Because that's fun."
"Ugh- fuck you," said Isaac as he sat down, "Let's face it, theres nothing to do here."
He sat down, and just then, something caught his eye.
"Hey," he stopped, "What about that?"
"What about what?"
Isaac moved over to the object he was pointing at, then lifted it from a pile of old newspapers, "This."
Lindsey made her way over to him slowly. Looking at the box, she didn't think she had ever seen such a thing in her life- much less did she think she owned it.
"What is it?"
"A board game," said Isaac simply as he dusted the cover, "The Board game of transformation?"
"Not very original," said Lindsey, "Is it?"
"Well, no," replied Isaac truthfully, "But lets check it out."
Isaac opened the box and found a board- which was of course essential in the game, a single die, and a small box with two openings, one where a card would go in and one where it would come out. There were no cards, however- none that he could see. There were also a number of board game pieces, small iron pieces shaped like think pawns. Isaac inspected the side of the box in which the game came in. "For Women Only."
"Why the hell would a board game be only for women?" asked Isaac as he showed Lindsey the board game.
She shrugged, "That's probably a joke- how the hell would they know?"
"Well, " began Isaac as he finished setting it up, "There aren't any rules- wanna give it a go?"
"Eh," said Lindsey, "What the heck?"
Isaac and Lindsey selected their pieces and placed them at the square marked start- by studying the game Isaac reasoned it was pretty simple, the point was to reach the end, and apparently there would be cards along the way and traps to stop you, yet those didn't make much sense yet.
"Okay," said Isaac, I'll go first.
Rolling the die, Isaac landed a three and moved his game piece three spots forward, onto a blank spot.
"Well that was uneventful," said Isaac. Just then, a card shot out of the top of the previously mentioned box. Isaac picked it up-
