As the sound of the baby's wailing begins to lower to a manageable level, you make your way over to him and pick him up, carefully cradling him in your arms. He coos softly as you rock him back to sleep.
Phew, what a shock! You sure as hell know that isn’t normal for a baby, and if he can do this as a baby, who knows what he could do all grown up! But as you look down on his innocent, sleeping face, the thought of abandoning him again never even crosses your mind.
You still haven’t even given him a name… how about Max. Yes, a good name for a baby who has maximum potential.
