The 18-year-old Brother

    by: Kip Author IconMail Icon
"Finally!" You relax as you put down the last moving box. It was long, hard work, but you finally had your oown apartment where you could start your own life. You name is Shane, you are 18 years old and you have two brothers, Shaun and Sam, who are identical to you in almost every way. The only major difference between the three of you is the fact that you are gay.

Just recently you decided to move awayfrom home to start an art career. You picked up a decent apartment in the center of town near your close friend, Olive, and finally finished unpacking. Money was still tight, but luckily Olive's dad hired you to work at his diner.

You heard a knock on the door. "Hello?~ Shane? I brought a little moving in present for you!" Olive walked in holding a full length mirror. Her long black hair bounced as she walked in. She was a pretty girl of about 17. You've known her since you were in diapers. She has always been your closest friend.

"You didn't have to do that. You and you dad have already done so much for me. Heck, if it wasn't for him I'd be bankrupt. No one is buying my work." "Its really nothing Shane. We got you this mirror because one, I saw you didn't have one yet, and two, not you can do self portraits. Don't give up hope yet! Life is hard, but how much fun would it be if it were easy?" Olive smiled. "Yeah, I suppose you're right."

You reached out and embraced her.

"Remember," she whispered in your ear, "Even when we are as down on our luck as we can possibly get, we still have hope. Hope for a brighter tomorrow." She started to walk towards the door. "See you in the morning!"Olive left and gently closed the door behind her.

"Nice mirror. Let's see...I'll nput it here I think." You looked into it. It was a nice antique mirror done in a renaissance flair. You saw your handsome face, deep blue eyes, and curly brown hair reflected back at you.

"Gosh," you sigh as you look at your reflection, "I wish something would come along to help improve my life..."

That night, a strong thunderstorm blew through town. Around 12 you heard a horrible bang at your balcony door. You dashed out of bed to see what it was, and found a small bundle laying at your feet. "That's odd. Some blankets must've gotten loose. What else could've reached me here on the third floor?"

You took the bundle inside and uwrapped it. Inside was... A BABY?! A small baby boy layed wrapped in blankets. You became frightened. How could a baby just fly in the storm? Who were his parents?!

The baby yawned and looked at you endearingly. Then he began... changing? It seemed as if he were slowly aging before your eyes. As he aged, clothes appeared on his body. He wore a white hoodie and black jeans.

By the time he finished aging, he looked about the same age as you. Ne stood at 6'3'' tall, and had a very impressive physique. He had snow white hair and golden eyes. He was absolutely beautiful.

He looked at you and...

You have the following choices:

1. Was confused. He had no idea where or who he was.

*Noteb*
2. Told you he was there to help make your life perfect.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
