Velma decided that whatever the strange occurrences were, they could wait until she was finished eating. Looking towards the stand, she was quite surprised to find that not one, but two more corn dogs had appeared in the place of the first. "Jinkies," she thought, "very strange..." Her stomach had begun to growl from smelling the corn dogs; they just looked so good, so fresh and warm... "Oh, well," she thought aloud, "I guess a couple more wouldn't hurt!" She bit into the two corn dogs with the same vigor she used to devour the first; within a minute both of them were merely sticks.
Velma burped a bit louder and chuckled nervously, a rosy blush tinting her cheeks even though there was no one around. "Jinkies, pardon me," she said to the empty air, looking back towards the stand. To her surprise, four corn dogs had appeared, lined up in a row. "Okay," she said to herself, "someone's playing a joke on me..." She hesitantly grabbed one of the corn dogs and nibbled it. It certainly tasted like the real thing... "Maybe I should sample ALL of them, just to be sure." What she considered "sampling" quickly turned into full-fledged eating, the girl gobbling up all four of the corn dogs in record time. She could feel her stomach start to fill up, but the corn dogs were just SO delicious...
She sighed to herself, seven corn dogs slowly digesting in her belly. She normally wouldn't have eaten so much--she preferred to leave the eating to the "experts", i.e. Shaggy and Scooby--but the food she'd just consumed was better than anything she'd had in a long time.
