This choice: Three inch tall, the spear looking like a gigantic tree to her. • Go Back...Chapter #6Three inch tall, the spear looking like a gigan... by: Psiredem Daphne lingered speechless as the strange tool she had just checked seemed to have exploded in her hands. Rubbing her forehead like after a hangover, the young woman got up, only to notice a huge, golden structure standing in front of her.
“W-where am I, what happened..? “ She stood there for a few minutes, thinking about her situation while carefully looking around her.
“I...I was just there, holding that thing to bring it back to Velma and-”
She suddenly stopped when she almost fell off into a hole in her walk. What surprised her even more was how this gap was shaped like a footprint. And it was too much of a coincidence for Daphne to prevent her from understanding what happened.
“Wait a minute… if this is the spear from earlier, only thousands times bigger, and the wood shards look like the wooden planks from the cabins, not to mention those huge footprints on the ground, while I was the only one here...does that mean that… I'VE SHRUNK?!”
Daphne could not believe it. There had to be a rational explanation. There had always been one. She probably had fallen asleep, and all of that was nothing but a bad dream?
“It's the only possibility. All what I have to do is to wake up!”
And so, she pinched her cheek hard. The slight discomfort did not prove helpful, but what surprised Daphne instead was a sharp pain in her back! When she turned around in the blink of an eye to understand what was happening, what she saw was…
