Chapter #3

Stories

    by: Unknown
Mary Lou Walker was a sexual deviant in her day, not only embracing the title, but she seemed proud of. Needless to say any community she lived in wasn't a fan of her. Her own son Walter hated the woman, she had wrecked a number of his friendships with local boys because she would seduce them. A rumor had followed the woman however, that she was caught having sexual relations with an inmate at North View Asylum upstate, and it also wrecked Walter's life when people found out. So when he turned 18, he went for answers and before long found himself sitting infront of this...thing: All of him seemed white, from his dressing to his pale skin and long hands that figdeted with eachother. Even his short hair seemed to be the lightest blonde it clould be. Though color was added to the hunched over thing, as everytime he'd glance up you could see dark circles around his eyes and when he muttered to himself, you could see his teeth were a mix of yellow and brown shades. Walter was almost speechless. Here was the man said to be his father, Linsday Wiaters, and he seemed more like a helpless child than an adult, his skin didn't even wrinkle.
"The doctor will be with you shortly," the nurse said as she started to leave the visiting room.
For a long while Walter felt alone in that room as he just watched the man sitting on the bed of a windowless visiting room, yet he kept looking at the wall as if expecting one as he rocked.
Finally, someone spoke. The voice was a little high and unused, but out from the fidgeting man came a "hi-hello-hi." Very quick and short,it caught Walter off guard for a second.
"Uh, hello? Do you know who I am?"
"Good - how are you?"
"Oh...im okay.." he said a little confused as a young doctor, about 25 entered the room.
"I wouldn't waste your time. He just repeats things he hears. Isn't that right Mr.Wiaters?"
"Right, Mr.Wiaters....right.."
"See?"
"So you're the doctor?" Walter asked "And he's really my father?"
"Oh....all of that..mess, happened before I was here but given how it upset Dr.Blumer before me, he took care of the children brought here before recently, and how blonde women send him into a screaming fit- I'd say so."
"Wait children?"
"Yes until these new laws we often got children who were slow or what have you. And Mr.wiaters, according to his file, came here at nine from a county hospital after police found him on the roadside, probably abandoned." The doctor shrugged, despite laws trying to change It still happened a lot.
"And how old his now?"
"Roughly 31-32." The doctor said simply, Walters father basiclly spent his whole life here and Walter wanted to change that.
