How about a story about a young boy who runs away from home and jumps on a moving boxcar and falls asleep to the gentle rocking rails.

When the boy awakes he is in a new town, or even a new state but must get something to eat and shelter .... will the boy beg for food or trade the only thing he has to trade with ... himself.

A few examples of what he might do ...

The boy goes to the nearest brothel .
The boy hangs out ear a strip club.
The boy goes to the nearest school.
The boy simply goes to a bakery and barter's himself for food and drink and shelter.
