You watched in amazement as the giant family paraded by you, each one shaking the floor in turn, even the little girl. Now, you watch in even more astonishment as the man of the house bends down and slides his shoes on.
You wave at him half-heartedly, but you know you won't be seen; you're on an entirely different pair of shoes. Why would he be looking at someone else's shoes? And if he did, why would he expect to see a bug-sized man?
He wouldn't. So as he straightens, you sigh, and look back down the hallway to the kitchen, where the rest of the giants remain. You look down at the shoe you're on, wondering if the next group to leave will see you.
