"Emily, stop that kicking," Jenna said to her daughter. Honestly, she could be a handful sometimes.
The family finishes breakfast in a timely manner, and Tim leaves for work. As the children head upstairs to change for school, Jenna takes a moment to clean up. She's already dressed, after all.
"Bye Mom. I'm taking Twerp-anna to school," Jake calls to his mother. Jenna vaguely hears Brianna's complaint about the name. She sighs. "Kids," she mutters to herself.
Walking over to the door, she spots a piece of lint on her pantyhose. Wrinkling her face, she flicks it off. It drifts slowly down, setting in her red pump. She can't help but feel for the lint, but her thoughts are interrupted as Emily rushes down the stairs. "Okay Mom, let's go."
The two are out the door and in the car before you could count to three. Dropping her daughter off at school, she heads to work.
