She heard that fat people are better singers

One morning Tori was laying on her couch texting her friend Kat. She had a day off school and her mom was out for the day. She was getting more bored by the minute though, which often happened when she wasn't with her friends.

She tried to think of something to do when she saw a magazine lying on the kitchen table. She got up and walked to the table and picked up the magazine. "What's this? It must be something my mom brought from the store." She glanced around before taking it with her back to the couch and began to glance trough the magazine.

Most of it was the usual trash such as recent celebrity break ups and fashion tips. Tori was about to put it down when the next page caught her eye. The title read Fat people sing best!" Tori was interested and began to read the article. It went into detail saying that the best and most popular up and coming singers were really fat. Tori's dream was to become a famous singer but recently was losing inspiration, fearing she wouldn't be any good. "So it says fat girls are better singers huh", Tori wondered. She looked in the mirror. "I've never thought about being fat before, it would be a massive leap, just to improve my career." She sighed. It was getting late. Tori slowly began to drift off into sleep. "I wonder if that article is true", Tori said to herself as she fell asleep.
