Wandering through the Norwegian forest, you stumble. Kicking at the root that tripped you, a shimmer catches your eye instead. As you're about to step over the root, you see it's metallic.
Pausing to examine it, you reach down to brush aside moss and roots. It doesn't show any signs of rust, so you assume it's not copper. Even the plants don't seem to cling tightly to it's surface. A vague hope that it might be gold surges in your imagination. Though you feel sure that's more a fantasy than a reality.
Picking it up, you buff if gently with your sleeve. Revealing some runes, and a crude picture of a horse. Well, maybe a horse running, it has too many legs.
