You were enjoying your Saturday morning, just relaxing and watching the morning news. You were feeling quite well, like
the beaming suns rays with joy. As you sipped your coffee, you received a text. You wondered, "I wonder who that could be.." It was a text from your neighbor, Ashley Kedall. You put on your glasses to see what she sent. She said,
"Hi John, this is Ashley again from next door. I would like for someone to watch my two girls today, which I thought would be you! Would you be up for the challenge? Thx and please text back to let me know."
You replied back saying, "Sure, I'm up for it." And thus you both coordinated with a time schedule. Later as time went on, you were scrolling through your phone to see what had been happening for the past few hours. Just then, the doorbell rang. It was them! Ashley and her two girls came in your apartment and they both ran up to you, like you were one of their family members. Both of the girls names were Sophie and Delilah. Sophie had the cutest face possible. She had blue eyes, blonde hair, and little tiny freckles on her checks. Delilah was the same exact way. Only she did not have freckles. They were both little angels that had been blessed in your care. Ashley discussed the times of when they needed to be watched. You reassured her that they could stay as long as they needed to. She thanked you again and hugged you for such a generous act you had done. Then she left your apartment and off she went to do what she had to do.
You were feeling pumped, ready for anything to come your way! Sophie appeared to be bored while Delilah was just.. sleepy, so she laid on your couch. Sophie asked you, "Excuze me, would it be ok if we were to go to.. the park please?" Delilah darted back up from her slumber and she said, "Yeah, I wanna go too!" You thought about it, then said, "Yeah alright, we can." The girls shouted with joy and said, "You're the best baby sitter ever!" You all got ready and headed for the park! You arrived at the park and the girls were giddy with anticipation. As soon as you stopped the car, they wanted to just bolt right out! You told them that they could go, and they lit up and dashed outside. You went on after them and sat down at a bench to watch them. It was a very nice day outside, the sun was shining, not a cloud in sight, and there was even a cool breeze which made it even better.
The girls were out playing for so long, you thought, "How much energy do these girls have?" The day seemed like it was longer , but in reality, it went like that! You looked at the time and thought it had only been 30 minutes, but it was already 5:00! You saw the energy dying down in them, then you shouted, "Sophie, Delilah, come on we gotta get going!" The girls were a bit upset, but they were getting tired anyways. You asked them, "So how was your time? Did I miss anything?" Delilah said, "It was AWESOME! It was so much fun I'd do it a million times!" You smiled and said, "Maybe we should do it that many times". You backed up the car and headed for home. What a day you thought to yourself. It went so fast! You wanted to get the girls food so you went home to fix them something. Tired, but you still managed!
It was around 8 or 9 ish now and you were just bummed out. You were watching a show with the girls as you nearly fell asleep. The girls noticed this, and decided to try and wake you up! What do they do?
