"Hmm, I've got an idea..." Your mother mused. You couldn't see her face beyond her now titanic feet, but you could imagine her smirking face as she calculated a way to maximize your humiliation.
She must have put her fingers to her mouth, because what came next was the loudest whistle you'd ever heard. It was followed by her booming voice saying "Girls! Come downstairs! Mommy has a surprise!"
Oh god, she's getting your sisters involved.
There was a flurry of noise as Rachel and Olivia raced down the stairs. You rolled over and peeked around your mothers heel to see their legs walk into the room. Rachel's dirty socked toes landed not an inch from your head, and you immediately became immersed in their pungent odor. From a small gap between the prodigious peds of your mother and sister you saw your oldest sister, Chelsea, walk into the room, her face obscured by whatever book she was absorbed in.
"What's the surprise, mom?" Olivia asked, quite obviously excited.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Rachel asked as well, tapping her foot, an action which scared you into stiffness.
"Well...." Your mother retracted her feet and looked down. "Your brother has done poorly in school again, so now he gets to be a little bug."
"Hahaha, you call that a surprise? Even I could have told you that loser would screw up again." Rachel laughed, "So, where is he?"
"Right down at your foot, dear." Your mother pointed you out, and four sets of eyes were suddenly upon you. Even Chelsea looked away from her reading, a sudden hunger now in her eyes.
Rachel tapped you with her toe, no feat to her, but an action which left you a bit bruised. "Smell good, squirt?" She laughed again.
"So so so, how are we gonna punish him this time?" Olivia nudged your mom. "Can I do it?"
"Maybe, maybe not. I decided to make it more fun this time around." Your mother started. Your sisters were all ears. "Your itty-bitty brother is going to have some time to hide. Then, whoever finds him first gets to keep him."
"Oooh, sounds fun. I betcha I'll find him." Rachel gave a quick competitive glance to your family before turning her eyes on you. "And then it'll be squish time." She lifted her foot quickly, ready to stomp you out. You screamed and scrambled away as quickly as you could. Rachel laughed and set her foot down gently next to the other one. "Not yet, little brother. But later. Count on it."
"Fufufu, I can't wait to have my own little devotee. I have so much to teach our little toy." Chelsea laughed her distinctive laugh and pushed a lock of fire-red hair out of her eyes.
"But wait Momma, how long do we get to keep him for?" Olivia asked.
"Hmm, well, grades that bad deserve some special punishment. How about for a month?"
"A month?!" Olivia cried out with glee.
"A what?!" You yelled, knowing that no one could hear you anyway.
"Yes. Your brother needs to learn the value of education. Even if it was his last year in high school, he can't go to college with that attitude. Whoever finds him gets to keep him for a month."
"Oh boy, hear that, bug? You're going to get to smell my stinky toes for an entire month." Rachel grinned.
"Not if he's under mine." Olivia protested.
Chelsea just smiled to herself, giving you a devious look that shook you deeply. What did she have planned?
"Alright girls, let's give your brother time to hide." Your mother got up to walk towards the kitchen, quickly and deliberately stepping directly on your tiny form. It was so unexpected and the shadow fell so fast, you didn't even have time to protect yourself. You stuck flat to the ground, a dull pain oozing up from your chest. The rest of the girls filed out of the room, back to whatever they were doing, taunting and teasing each other about who would get you and what they would do.
Your ears were ringing after your mothers sudden stomp, but you could make out Olivia and Rachel debating how to really make you suffer. Chelsea was unusually quiet.
You sat yourself up and began to inspect your body. "Ugh, probably bruised my ribs. That's gonna make it hard to move around. Now where the hell should I hide? Maybe I can at least get a few days of rest." You said to no one in particular.
