Chapter #4

He stops playing

Nick lays his pool stick on the table and the four of them head out the front door and down the stairs.

“Alright we need groceries for the week and already cooked food for right now, anything else?” Kyle says, “Girls.” Nick says, “Agreed, but food first.” James says

They laugh amongst themselves as they get in the car, “So what kind of places they got to eat around here?” Joey asks, “No clue, my parents just bought the place, I’ve never been here before.” Kyle says

They drive into town, which seemed to be somewhere between a small town and a city. All the buildings were either restored or fairly new, with all that you would expect from a standard city but it didn’t seem as crowded. It looked like the perfect place for a vacation or getaway for someone who didn’t needed to get away from the city but didn’t want to be in the middle of nowhere.

They decide on a nice sports bar for dinner. Once inside they order and continue talking. “Okay guys what is the plan?” Nick says,

“Well let’s see.” James says pulling out his phone, “We already have a place to crash for the week, there is a beach about thirty minutes that way,” he says pointing to his left, “A lake about fifteen minutes that way,” he says pointing backward, “Wow this is actually a college town.” He says smiling

“Awesome, so we have plenty of options.” Joey says, The waitress then brings their drinks to the table, “Okay so I say we eat, then find a Wal-Mart to stock up on supplies and head back?” Kyle says lifting his glass

The all smile and raise their glasses in a toast. After they finished eating they easily found a Wal-Mart since it was easily within walking distance of the restaurant. They then proceeded to fill up a shopping cart with snack foods, and an assortment of other supplies for the coming week.

When they got back to the house they stocked the fridge and pantry. Then they started drinking the beer they brought from home and watching enjoying the surround sound of the home entertainment center, until each crashing in their own beds.

The next morning...
