Nico groaned in frustration as he attempted to squeeze into his skinny jeans. Man was he glad that Hazel wasn't visiting. He needed to be alone for this embarrassment. He hopped his way over to the only mirror in his room, naked except for his boxers and the pants around his knees. He made a face at his reflection. This had to be some kind of joke. His gut spilled over the elastic waistband of his boxers, which were fitting too lightly around his legs for their purpose. His face turned pink, drawing his attention to his own face, and he saw his slight double chin and chubby cheeks.
The only thing that embarrassed him about this was the fact that everyone would have already noticed. He's been walking around like this for who knows how long, visibly gaining weight for everyone to see. He blamed Will for feeding him every meal when he usually only ate dinner every other day.
With much struggle, Nico managed to pull his pants up around his legs. He couldn't get the button done and the zipper continued to aggressively retreat from Nico's belly. He sighed and walked on numbing legs for a shirt. Even his biggest one didn't conceal his belly. He added a sweatshirt to that, which seemed to work. He hoped nobody would find it suspicious. It was mid summer after all.
