“Cody! I’m not a toy! Take me to a…” is all you could say before he stuffed you in the front pocket of his hoodie. You are tossed and swaying back and forth as he moved about. Every move he made caused the pocket to move about. At one point you are pressed against his stomach as he hugged one of his friends.
After an hour at most his hand shot in and snatched you up in his fist. You covered your eyes as they readjusted to the light. Cody grinned down at you as he sat heavily on the floor in front of the teacher. You looked around and saw the other kids each had a toy or other object with them. This must be the show and tell circle. You got excited since the teacher and everyone will be looking and you can get help.
One by one the kids go up and the teacher allowed then to se off their item and talk about it. Finally Cody’s turn came and he stood up quickly. The move made you dizzy for a moment as he walked to the front of the group. “Dis is my good toy. It’s fun, and talks, and moves.” Cody goes to show the teacher, but at that moment the phone rings and the teacher says he will look later.
Cody seems upset, but not as much as you are. Just my bad luck that the call came just as I was going to saved. At least you hoped the teacher was going to look later like he said. The teachers call ended but he looked upset. As Cody walked over to him you heard him grumbling about the new person not showing up.
