The dragon bot gasped. He took his hand back and stared at you for a moment. Then simply said: "You're a... a human!" He sat up straight keeping his eyes on you, then shifted his vision left and right and back to the hallway. You were becoming increasingly scared from this monsters simple movements. He then reached right next to you for the remote, making jump in surprise and fall backwards. He paused looked at you again, slowing his movement more. "Hey, calm down, i'm not gonna hut ya, just turning on the TV that's all." He grabbed the remote, scanned the surface of it,then hit the power button. The screen behind you lit up and was at a medium set volume. "There, now my stupid sister won't hear me." You turned to look at the TV. It was like normal television, the channel on the equivalent of Disney or something, but it was casted by anthros not humans. You jumped slightly as you were lifted up by two scaly digits, more so even scared when you became eye-level with the giant
"Pl-please don't eat me! I wouldn't taste good, I swear!" You pleaded with your hands together, the fear of becoming a morning snack was seeping through your body, but all that was relieved when the boy responded.
"What? Oh- you think i was going to- i wasn't go to eat you." You sighed and closed your eyes for a moment, quick to open them again to be aware. "Heh heh, no, I would never eat something living, let alone something that could. Or a human for that matter! Your like a legend to us!" This got your attention; a legend? What did he mean. His eyes wandered all over you, and once sniffed you. He was very curios, and more than excited.
You brought enough courage up to ask him to let you down. "As great as the view is up here, could- could you possible but me down?" You were becoming afraid of heights, he wasn't exactly holding you over the table anymore, let alone anything soft.
He snapped out of a daze. "What? Ummm... oh yeah. Ok." He looked around seemingly trying to find a spot before he looked back at you, leaning back onto the couch. "Umm, well there isn't that great of a selection of safe seats- and i don't want to sit on you or anything- so i hope you like pudge." He gently placed you on his stomach, while he sat back in a slouched position, while you weren't that tiny, about five inches, his body seemed still massive to you. The warmth from the massive gut was comfortable and honestly you had thought his scales would be hard and cold, but were rather soft and squishy, very much like skin. You cautiously sat down facing his grinning face, small giggles were elicited when you shifted a bit.
"So-so...ummm yeah i'm human. Whats so special about that?" He smiled again, but to you it looked like a display of razer sharp teeth.
"Well, to be plain... humans don't exist... well shouldn't exist, they're just a myth." You looked in surprise, it was a logical reason for his great interest in you, and why everything in this world seemed to be comprised of anthros. "But you, you're real." He lifted a finger up to you and gently nudged you bringing back his finger and giggling. He seemed so content just to look at you. "To think, a real human! And a nice one too!"
Just then, he heard a voice coming through the halls "Lysander! Turn down that damn TV,it's Eight in the morning, and it's a Saturday, can't you just play in your room!" His sister was stomping down the hallway getting closure, your heart pounding. He looked down to you quickly with troubled eyes and... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
