Like any other day, Yuki arrived at Liam's home five minutes before her shift started. Like any other day, Liam was waiting for her at the front door. Like any other day, they exchanged smiles. Like any other day, Yuki pointed towards the guest room while ruffling the bag with her uniform, not even intending to slow down.
Their custom ceased there.
In response to Yuki's gesture, Liam shook his head. "Not yet, Yuki. We need to have a talk. Back in my office."
Yuki's heart raced. A talk never meant a good thing, she reasoned, especially when the subject isn't broached and it has to be done in private. But why? She went above and beyond in the actual duties, even keeping the pH level in the pool perfect. The overtly dirty requests were met with the same gusto, never a groan or hesitation to be found even when she was alone. Or so she thought. Had her tone betrayed her disgust?
The clang of Liam's tank scaling the lip in the floor broke Yuki from her trance. She followed her boss, hoping this wasn't going to mark the end of her employment. If not for the money or beating the heat with his uncrowded pool, then because she only had the uniform underwear and didn't want to walk home commando in a light skirt that reached to her knees and a thin tank top.
"Before you worry," Liam said, "you're not in trouble."
Yuki sighed in relief.
"It's some of the other girls that are making trouble for you; and I won't name names so you don't get vengeful. They slip their street clothes in with my laundry to save money, they sully my pool's immaculate water, and one even tried stealing some of my more valuable nicknacks. I tried the honor system, and they abused it."
It was all a lie of course. The entire staff knew Liam's eyes only left the camera feeds when he was watching them in person, and even then he had recordings he could review. None dared to cross their generous paycheck. Liam needed a plausible excuse for his policy changes, and this accomplished the goal while further sewing dislike and distrust among the girls - something to ensure they wouldn't confer and see through his lie.
"So here's how things are going to work from now on. First: the uniforms never leave my home - not even one piece - unless you're running an errand during your shift. Now you'll have no excuse to carry in garment bags or suitcases. While I won't ban purses, any brought will have to be checked, and the only garments I better find in there should be a bathing suit that I'll be holding onto for the duration of your shift. Since the uniforms require a dry cleaner and are all slightly different, I'll handle the cleanings and distributions. And to reward the good girls, and only the good girls, the cleaning fee won't be docked from your pay."
Yuki's eyes twitched in spite of her best efforts. Sure, it'll be nice to not lose money cleaning that uniform all the time, but if no part of the uniform could leave without Liam's permission, then the underwear is staying here too. Even if she came in wearing a skirt, she'd still have to get her own panties off. No matter how she tried it, she never found a way to change panties without flashing her beaver even slightly. And knowing Liam, he already has a few cameras set to peek up skirts.
"Second: no one is allowed to swim in my pool until after they shower. The guest room's soap and shampoo bottles have been switched with transparent plastic and have been given a distinct scent. I'll be measuring the bottles and taking whiffs of you. If you fail either test, I'll assume you didn't wash and deny you access."
This one evoked no reaction. As soon as the pool was brought up in regards to new rules, her mind was already running down full nudity scenarios. She was overjoyed when Liam revealed it wasn't going to be an au naturel pool that could bring gawkers to his fence, but what he said instead wasn't a major change. The shower camera (strictly to make sure you're cleaning the shower, he claimed) wasn't very well hidden, but blocking its view also meant blocking the flow of water and announcing that no one could be washing. Liam would have to see her in the buff if she wanted use of his pool, and he'd probably keep the videos for a while. The only solace was Yuki could wear something sturdier than her string bikini, though not until next time. But was that worth it?
"And third: new uniforms. They'll be more form fitting and won't have pockets, so it'll be impossible to conceal stolen objects on your body. And for you, Yuki, for all your hard work and for being such a good girl, I'll let you keep your old uniform."
Happy day, Yuki thought while maintaining her poker face.
This one wasn't so bad, though. While flaunting her figure and panty line weren't a wardrobe concern, some of her older clothes did these anyway and she still wore them. Plus, that's better than being seen in her underwear, or her two-pieces, since there's less skin on show. Cold rooms might make her poke through the top, but otherwise it shouldn't be a problem.
However, Yuki immediately retracted those thoughts.
While rifling through a drawer, Liam finished, "Here's your new uniform."
He threw the bundle to Yuki. Her heart sank when she saw...
