Chapter #3

Popular Phoebe

Getting dressed, I couldn't help but think about Phoebe and why she wanted us to be alone. We've always trusted each other with things, and she did act flirtatiously sometimes, but it didn't feel like our relationship was going in that direction. Sure we were good friends, but she never once suggested she was looking for a boyfriend.

As I pondered the reason behind Phoebe's private social call, I walked through the house and into the front yard, where my bike was propped up against the side of the house. It was the same red bike I'd been taking around with me for nearly five years, and it got me everywhere I wanted to go.

The ride was short, and a few minutes saw me leaning my bike against Phoebe's porch several streets away. Her house was a two floor structure, with many slanted roofs crowning the stony walls. To my right was the tall garage, which I'd seen from time to time and it actually looked a lot cleaner than our own. The porch was a few square meters, with one of those hanging benches on the left beside the window.

Mounting the wooden platform, I got a wiff of the well-grown flowers that were planted in the garden I passed through earlier, along with the earthy smell of dirt and grass. My strapped sandals padded loudly against the porch, and a loud classical ding-dong noise was heard as I pressed the ringer.

Drawn by the doorbell, the sound of bare feet came from the other side of the entrance, stepping quickly. They stopped, and as the door swung inwards I caught sight of Phoebe standing there, smiling warmly at me. Before I could say anything she embraced me, drawing me in close.

"Thanks for coming," she whispered into my ear, as she rested her head against my shoulder. I was happy to let the moment last a little longer. When she released me, she took my hand and led me inside, me closing the door behind us.

A sleeveless blue blouse hugged her chest and shoulders, ending just below her ribs and showing off quite a bit of belly. Her shoulder-length brown hair shimmered in the sunlgiht, which was cast through the windows, and smelled like the flowers outside. White booty shorts swayed with her hips, complimenting her nice ass. The hand that pulled me was manicured, her purple nails sharp and filed, and her nice smooth legs led down to two pretty bare feet.

"Have a seat, I'll get us something to drink," she told me, leading me to the kitchen counter. She gestured to one of the stools and walked towards the fridge.

I grabbed her hand before she could leave. "It's okay, I'll get it," I offered.

"You're so sweet, but really, it's fine," I was reassured.

Relinquishing my grasp on her, I sat down and she opened the fridge. After pouring us some juice, she sat down on a stool next to me and explained our options while I sipped at the refreshing liquid.

"I've got everything I need if we're heading out. There's a clearing in the woods I found, secluded and alone. Also there's a nice place by the river where we could picnic. Or if you'd like, we could just stay here."

You have the following choices:

1. To the forest clearing

2. Headed for the riverside

3. Stayed at Phoebe's place
