Big Top Tent

The clown grinned widely at us, "Marvelous! Kitchy's shows always leave people laughing!" She accentuated her point with another quick tickle to Jenna's belly, causing the girl in question to giggle and back away a little more.

"I have heard of Kitchy's...playful reputation." My friend said.

"Oh, you have the right of it. The Countess of Chuckles is known to have lots of fun with those who see her shows." She paused, and smirked with amusement. "Though, if you're one of the lucky ones, you might not even be able to pay attention to the show."

Jenna and I looked at each other with confusion. "What do you mean by that?" I asked. "Wouldn't we want to be paying attention to the show?"

The clown chuckled. "You'll find out for yourself when you go to the seat ticket booth. Either way, have fun at the Big Top!" She waved at us as she walked away, laughing quietly to herself.

Jenna turned to me nervously. "What do you think she meant? Lucky ones? Who wouldn't want to pay attention to the show?"

I shrugged back. "Only one way to find out, I suppose." Jenna nodded her agreement, and the two of turned toward the Gigantic Tent, and started walking, with me giving Jenna a quick tickle with the feather dusters any time something caught her attention. Eventually, the ticket booth came into view with a fairly long line still ahead of us.

Eventually, after a few minutes of waiting, and talking quietly to ourselves, we got to the ticket booth, to find a clown who looked like he was in his mid-thirties, next to a big spinner that had five slender gold lines in star formation standing out against the rest of the blue board.

"Why hello kids!" The clown greeted. "I haven't seen you guys here before. New to the Karnival?" He asked, to which we nodded yes to. "Splendid! Well let me explain how this works! There's two types of seats in the big top. The first, and much more common are the blue ticket seats. They're about what you'd expect from normal circus seats. You'll be surrounded by other people, you'll be expected to not disturb the show, and you run the risk of catching the attention of Kitchy when she starts looking for volunteers from the audience to join her show. Which, don't get me wrong, would be fun and put a smile on your face. However, there's another, luckier place to sit. Centered around near the top of the tent, are ten sound proof boxes. We call these gold ticket seats. In there, you'll have privacy from the rest of the tent, you won't be called on by Kitchy, and since it's soundproof, you don't need to worry about disturbing the show. But! There's a catch." Jenna and I exchanged glances. "There's only one actual 'seat' up there. The other one is actually a set of stocks positioned so your face is pointed toward the glass in the box. One of you will be stripped to your underwear and immobilized in the stocks, the other will get to sit in the chair and inflict whatever ticklish desire they have on the poor person. Now you can see why they're sound proof. Which person is stocked is up to you. So far, 4 of the boxes have been taken up. Now, I can just give you blue tickets if you want, but if you're feeling lucky, we can give the spinner a...well, a spin, and see if you hit gold!"

Jenna and I looked at each other, not even needing to discuss this. We both already knew what we were gonna choose. I looked at the clown and said...
