It was just another day in the Fairy Tail Guild. Noisy and full of life as it always has been. Even after the time skip and after winning the Grand Magic games, things have been rather peaceful for the guild. Somewhat boring for one Erza Scarlet. She was in her normal get up without armor, sipping tea as she looked at the board for mission of her S-class status. Unfortunately one had apparently caught her eye. Pulling it from the board, she began to look at it more closely.
"250,000 jewels to whom can slay the cursed swordsman for the country of Bellum" is said on the flyer.
"Mirajane, who put this up?" asked Erza as she looked at Mirajane.
"It has been posted there quite sometime no. It appears no one even from the other guilds have decided to take it." said Mirajane, as she was filling up booze for Cana.
"Fine, I'll take it. Seems to have a good payout and I can exercise my sword fighting abilities." said Erza as she left the guild.
Erza couldn't find Lucy, Natsu, or Gray around but according to Elf-man, they're together on another mission. Juvia as always following Gray around like a lovesick puppy that she is. She couldn't ask Laxus since he has is group with him. So she had set sail to the country of Bellum. It was a long journey by train but eventually she arrived there at day break where she was greeted by what seemed to be a heavily armored knight.
"Greetings! Erza Scarlet of Fairy Tail! Welcome to Bellum" said the knight as Erza could undoubtly see that this was an arms town. Everywhere armories and smitheries lay about with weapons displayed and built for war.
"We have your accomodations ready, Ms. Scarlet. So if you please follow me." said knight as Erza nodded and followed the knight to the hotel she was staying where she was granted 1st class.
"The person who had requested the job you have taken shall be here shortly, Ms. Scarlet. So do kindly wait." said the knight. Soon enough the person she was waiting for had arrived. He was a long haired blonde man, worn torn as seen on his scar on his left cheek, having a large sword strapped to his back. The sign on his armor would tell you that this guy is a general. Also with him a bunch of armorclad bodyguards.
"I am General Raul of the Bellum army. It is my pleasure to meet you finally Queen Titania." as both he and Erza shook hands.
"You seem like a strong and courageous army, General Raul. I cannot see why you would post something like that." said Erza as they were having tea.
"Yes, but it displeasures me to ask help from the outside. I have sent many man to try to slay this inhuman being but all have died in doing so." said General shaking his head.
"My condolesence, General. Why is this cursed swordsman so strong and why is he called cursed?" asked Erza
The general began to tell the tale of the cursed swordsman and how it came to be. He was once a brilliant warrior whose skill unmatched by anyone in Bellum. Champion of Champions till one day, the castle he was bound to protect was attacked by a dark guild. Driven back due to his inability to use magic, the castle was taken over and all of his love ones killed. In thirst for revenge and power, he was approached by a legendary dark wizard who gave him the power to decimate this dark guild thus he was born. He had slaughter last one of the dark guild, using the swords ability to harvest souls to increase his power and grant him immortality. But even after killing all the dark guild, when back up had arrived he slaughter them too. His mind corrupt by the power of the Dark Blade. And has been doing this ever since.
"So where is he now?" asked Erza excited to meet this adversary, The general in surprise looked at the red haired girl.
"We shall take you there." said The general and soon enough they had left for where the cursed swordsman is now residing.
