As much as you wanted to prepare for the job you also didn't want to pass up the opportunity to make a good first impression with the people you'd be working with. After all, it was important for a team to get along and have each other's backs if it wanted to succeed, something you had learned in the past from working with crews who only had the score in mind. If everyone manage to do a good job on this Blue Siren heist you'd all soon be millionaires.
You headed into the main lobby and basked in the refreshingly cool air that washed over you while admiring the interior design of the hotel. It was a bit cheesy with palm tree silhouettes painted on the walls and employees wearing tropical floral print shirts but it was still a pretty nice place for being so far from the main strip. After checking in at the front desk you hopped onto the elevator and took it up to room 311 on one of the upper floors.
As you approached the door you heard cheering and hoots of laughter on the other side. It sounded almost like some sort of big party was going on, which was strange. You checked the room number that had been sent by the crew and sure enough it was the right place. "Alright then, here goes nothing I guess..." you mumble to yourself as you swipe your keycard in the slot and turn the handle.
Inside the room were three men in suits, a lean Asian man in a white leisure suit with black undershirt, a Caucasian man with a light blue pinstripe suit and blue tie and another Caucasian man with a goatee and gold necklace in a casual brown suit. All of them were enjoying some booze and barely noticed you walk in. What really caught your eye though, was the buxom stripper dancing on a thick wooden coffee table while her partner gave the Asian guy a lap dance.
"Hey hey hey, you D?!" the Asian guy shouts cheerfully as he pours himself a fresh glass of bourbon. The other two guys look you over as they take a sip out of their own drinks, a martini and a glass of rum and coke. This wasn't what you expected, but as long as these guys were professional once the job started you didn't mind a little bit of celebrating early. "Yeah, I'm D. Nice to meet you all." you reply as you sit your stuff down in an empty chair.
