Tell Mrs Collins about the girls bullying Wendy

    by: SillyBaby Author IconMail Icon
"That's not fair." you say. "That you have to fail the unit because they are bullying you."

"Yeah." she agrees. "But there's nothing I can do about it.

"Let's go talk to Mrs Collins." you suggest. "Tell her about it."

"No." she say. "There's no need to do that."

"Come on." you lead the way to Mrs Collins' office.

"Wait." Wendy follows you. "Stephen."

You arrive at Mrs Collins' office and knock.

"Yes Stephen." she answers the door. "Have you changed your mind about the camp?"

"No." you say. "But I found out why Wendy dropped out."

"Really?" she asks as Wendy catches up to you.

"Yes." you say. "Ashleigh and Deborah have been teasing her and she thinks they would try to embarrass her on the camp."

"Is this true Wendy?" she asks.

Wendy looks defeated. "No."

"What?" you ask. "You just told me."

"Kate told me that you were going to ask about the camp." Wendy informs you. "She asked me to lie so that you would agree to go."

"Why?" you ask. "What doesn't she want me to know?"

Wendy looks at Mrs Collins but doesn't say anything.

"Come in to the Child Care room." Mrs Collins leads you both through the office. and into the classroom. Once there, she unlocks a large cupboard. Inside are 6 large bags. "Take one out." she directs you "And bring it back here."

You do as you are told and carry the heavy bag back to her. "What's in this?"

"There's one of those bags for each 'baby'" she explains. "They have all of the things they required for the camp."

You unzip the bag and look inside. Folded on top is a brightly coloured plasstic mat. You take it out and look in disbelief at what you find underneath. "Diapers?" you ask.

"Yes." Mrs Collins says. "Babies wear diapers."

"What's the plastic mat?" you ask.

"That's a changing mat." she explains.

"For diaper changes?" you ask. "You mean the babies have to use their diapers?"

"Yes." she says, as though this was all completely reasonable. "It's not very good practice if the girls don't need to change the babies they are looking after."

"This is why you didn't want to go to the camp?" you ask Wendy.

She just nods.

You have the following choices:

1. Say that there's no way you're going on that camp

2. Keep looking through the bag
